It all starts with the will to better your situation. Then the process will look like this:
Initial phone consultation to go over your needs, and the applicable fees.
In-home visit so I can assess the situation with your dog, take notes, find out its motivators and demeanor. This will take about an hour.
I will put together a personalized game plan to best help your relationship, give you the pet you have always wanted, and relay that to you with a timeline, and realistic expectations.
Then we work together to provide you with the best outcome for your situation.
Obedience training.
Do you have a dog that needs help understanding basic commands, listening when spoken to, and executing commands more consistently? This package is for you. I will work closely with you to help your pet better understand proper behavior, follow general commands, and focus on you more intently whether it’s needed in your home, or in more public spaces with distractions present.
Have a puppy that you want to supercharge its listening, and basic obedience so you can begin a life well lived together? this is also the package for you!
Lifestyle training.
Do you have a dog who already gets the basics, but has some things to work on in shared spaces with other people, dogs, or distractions?
Leash pulling, lack of confidence, inability to settle, jumping up on newly introduced people?
If you said yes to any of these or have any other reason why your dog isn’t able to accompany you in public spaces, this is the package for you!
Behavior Modification
Many dogs have behavioral issues that seem impossible to control. Working through these issues with me to show you the management and skills to overcome these behaviors will show you that there is hope you can have a much less stressful life with your dog.
These issues and the psychology behind them have become my specialty and I promise a life changing impact on each client and dog that trains with BBK9D.
Aggression - whether its dog, human, or resource guarding, we can manage and change it effectively without putting you or the ones you love in danger.
Reactivity - one of the trickier issues with dogs. I will assess the root of the reactivity, explain and break down the psychology, and teach you effective management moving forward.
In-home issues - counter surfing, getting into trash, crate training, fence or window fighting and any other undesired behaviors coming to an end are able to be reversed and helped.
